Has anyone heard from Emery or Ken Henderson? Some pretty serious floods around Boulder and Longmont, near Emery! Hope they're okay.

Thanks for asking Gary. We are in Kansas on our way to Branson getting there early to help set up.

Today we have received two telephone calls with taped messages to residents of Rinn Valley Ranch from the town emergency response network. Warning us to be prepared to evacuate. The last one at 7:30 pm Colorado time indicated that our neighborhood has now been evacuated and that several homes in it have flooded basements. All roads are closed including Hwy 119 from I-25 west to about county road 5. Also closed is county road 7 to the west and county road 20 to the south.

My neighborhood is between 119 on the north and county road 20 on the south. county road 7 on the west and I-25 on the east side. So right now there is no entry or exit from our neighborhood.

I spoke to a neighbor and he told me that so far he and I appear to be all right. Some homes just to the north of us have flooded basements.

My daughter, who lives 20 miles south of us will come to check our house in a couple of days when she hears that the roads have drained and are open.

We have our fingers crossed. Over 8 inches of rain fell in our neighborhood and we have a couple of small streams in the area that have overflowed their banks. We moved last Sept. from a much larger house in Santa Fe so we have a whole lot of boxes and furniture piled in our unfinished basement. A lot of stuff to lose!

Gary,

I'm long gone from CO. I'm concerned about Bill & Bobbie Bramlett, too.

Bramletts are fine. They are in Tulsa right now. I spoke to Bill yesterday and his neighbors say "no flooding in his neighborhood". The Anstetts and Leslies in Loveland are also OK.

Our neighborhood had a mandatory emergency evacuation last night. All roads along the west, north and south sides are flooded over and closed. I-25 is to the east is closed in sections and the frontage roads are also flooded and closed. Boulder Creek runs by our neighbor hood and that had 11 feet of water in Boulder and caused 2 deaths and roads washed out and even collapsed some homes.

My daughter lives 20 miles south and when the roads open she will check our basement for flooding.
If flooded, we will leave the Branson rally and hurry home because we would have to get it pumped out and worry about mold. Fingers are crossed.

I happened upon this photo of a GMC in the Colorado floods, and checked in to find this thread:

More flooding photos: http://denver.cbslocal.com/photo-galleries/2013/09/16/historic-sept-12-flooding-in-colorado/

Anyone know who's coach that is? Colorado plate 141-NKX.

Hope everyone's OK!
