Hi,

If any one going to the three club GMC rally at Coos Bay, OR, the first week in October has a pair of good 455 cast iron exhaust manifolds or an HEI air cleaner for a 455, I would like to buy them and have you bring them to the rally. Please let me know off line a price and condition. Thanks.

The schedule is now set and everything is shaping up for a really great rally. Looks like there will be 230 to 250 people there with some staying in the hotel, some in dry camping but most in the RV park. We were able to work with the RV park to double up some of the 60 plus foot pull through sites without inconveniencing anyone so it looks like we can offer full hookups to most everyone who wants them.

There is a very full schedule with all our rally meals catered by the Mill Casino, Hotel and RV park chefs and wait staff who have a great reputation for the quality of both the food and the service. There are two non-overlaping seminar tracks, one covering topics pertaining to the Repair, Maintenance and Modernization of a GMC and the other covering topics pertaining to Getting the Most From the GMC Lifestyle. Every day is jam packed with so very much to do and see including nightly special happy hour events with presentations on things like wine and cheese pairings, after dinner programs several nights and two off site events with transportation provided. The Coos Bay merchants are putting on a Friday Wine Walk event and are even etching wine glasses with our Rally logo on them for our attendees.

We had so much on the schedule that there was a request for at least one night of just fun and games so we moved the Friday night catered dinner to Sunday night which will be followed by an uproarious session hoots, GMC talent, and who knows what all. The Saturday night BBQ event should be a great compliment to the Saturday tour of the Culinary Arts Center complete with student prepared food in their four teaching kitchens pared with wonderful Oregon wines.

And, don't forget the chance to talk with the vendors who make it possible to keep our GMCs going for another 40 years, see their wares and determine for yourself what you just can't live without. On Sunday morning and afternoon the public and regional media is invited to special vendor demos and two open house events to see what is so special about our GMC motorhomes and the GMC lifestyle we all enjoy so much.

Come join us if you can. There are special weekend only rates for those who can only stop by for a couple of days as well as full rally rates for those in their GMC, in an SOB or those staying in the hotel or who make their own lodging arrangements. Still time to register and, yes, you most likely can still have full hook ups if you act quickly. Registration forms are posted on all three sponsoring club web sites, GMCWS, GMC Cascaders and GMC 49ers, as well as on Gene Fisher's blog site. Email me directly if you can't find the info elsewhere. See you there!

Jerry,

I have a number of sets spare, I'll send you photos of the surface that interfaces with the heads and with the exhaust donut when I
get back to Houston from the Branson GMCMI Convention.

I'll bring them in my luggage. I have a United Airlines Mileage Plus Club Master Card that allows me two 50 lb bags FOC whenever I
fly so you won't be up for any shipping charges.

Regards,
Rob M.

Jerry,
I can bring one to Coos Bay for, I replaced this one with a Mondello filled
manifold. This one you can have free, condition unknown but was losing
vacuum from a visible crack in the throttle bore.
