As I complete my Honda 6500 inverter install, I am looking for a home for the barbarian...I will let it go pretty cheap, if no takers I will shortly part it out and scrap the remaining.

Please let me know if anyone is interested. Located in Northwest NJ

Will the 6k fit in the gen compartment of a 23?

76 Birchaven - "Wicked Mistress" - New engine, trans, alum radiator, brakes, Sully airbags, fuel lines, seats, adult beverage center... those Coachmen guys were really thinking about us second hand owners by including that beverage center... Columbia, SC.

Joe
Not without substantial modification. The 23 compartment was designed for a 4 KW.

No. I couldn't find a frame bracket to install the Onan in my 23' so Kerry Pinkerton modified the one off his 6k for me. The 6k Onan is a few inches longer and the compartment in the 23' is too small. You would have to do some non-trivial structural and body work to get a 6k into a 23' GMC.

I am in East Pennsylvania and may be interested. How best to contact you? I just purchased a 78 Royal and have not been able to get the Onan to work.
