I want to move my brake lights over to a circuit that is only on when the key is on. My Brake lights are LEDs and don't pull that many amps but I don't think I want to pull it off the ignition switch or circuit the voltmeter is on.

I have a devil of a time making sense of schematics. Is there a particular circuit I can use (I'm not using the cruise control), or do I need to get a relay and wire it to a the distribution panel and trigger the relay from the ignition circuit for the brake light line?

I'm just so dang useless with automotive wiring. Why can't everything be sheet metal... Shocked Laughing
