I've spent several days working under the hood of my coach. For the 19th time, I dropped a screw, or had to find a pocket to stick a wrench in or similar. Normally when I work on cars, there are flat places or I can use a magnetic bowl or something. Not so on our GMC's

So I knocked this together:

It sits over the lip inside the 'hoods'.

I wouldn't put a LOT of weight on it but that's why I made it small.

Once I made it, I realized how handy it was. No more dropping screws, bolts, nuts, tie wraps. No more wishing my arm was 6" longer so I could reach to the ground while holding something with the other hand. No more volt meters falling to the ground because there wasn't anywhere to put it. This WILL be in my coach.

I'm going to send one to Emery for helping me today and also to Steve W for correctly guessing what the KISS Parking Brake was.

If there is interest I'll make some for sale. Probably about $15 considering the aluminum cost.
