A PO has painted the grill and headlight trim flat black, and done a horrible job; maybe applied it with a brush.



I'd like to strip them and repaint. I've read brake fluid is a great stripper, but you can have real issues getting paint to stick afterwards, and bubbling paint where the brake fluid is entrapped in pores, etc.



Any products that have been used successfully?
