Hi folks,
check the inaugural trip report in another post - but I forgot to include I tossed a hubcap somewhere between home and the beach. 16.5 inch wheel - jumping to aluminum was not in the budget.

If you can name the brand/type of hubcap and/or put me in touch with someone who has a replacement or two sitting in their barn, I would be much obliged.

Thanks

Stainless or plastic?
I see them on eBay quite often.

Mine are stainless. Hadn't even thought about ebay - I checked and found some similar stuff, but all in sets of four or six.

Tiler,

I bought a used 16" one from a guy locally who was advertizing on Craig's List. It seems to be a loosing battle to keep those things on though. I had lost two by the time I switched to the Eagle wheels.

Take the other five off and sell them (I would say throw them away, but people actually buy those things).

Your wheels will match, your brakes will cool just a wee bit better, and you won't lose any more hubcaps.

Dress up the bare wheels with a good paint job, lugnut covers, whatever. Hubcaps will always be a nuisance item.

If you are coming to the Branson Rally, I have a few hubcaps that I don't need anymore. I live just a short distance from Branson.

For anyone else, I have the large drivers side window as well as the two bedroom windows. $50.00 each and will be donated to our web support guys. These are from a '77 Palm Beach.

Your hubcaps are exactly like mine. I bought mine at Camping World on-line in a 4 pack for about $120. They also have them in singles or they did have. I bought two 4 pack sets from Wheel Masters on-line also they were $75 for 4, but they have a different lug nut style.

Clear or white cable ties.

Tie them to the wheels and they will not fall off. Carry spare ties because every time you remove them you will have to cut the ties.
