The latest engine thread and the talk of newer trannys, made me wonder exactly what the stock torque curves look like on the 403, 455 and Caddy 500. I've seen the ones that Jim Bounds posted on his Koba motors but they are not stock.

It seems like I've seen them...somewhere... Shocked but can't locate them.

These guys still hold that record at 419 mph. It gives you 8-1 compression numbers as well.The Olds is probably similar,No? Low compression/Low Power/Torque. High=High

There was an article showing actual dyno-test results for several GMC coaches at a dyno party several years ago. I think it was in GMC Western States or Pacific Cruisers newsletter or hand out. Looked but could not find it. Maybe someone here remembers where to find it.
