G'day,

Short trip today; from Lafayette, LA to New Iberia, LA - Double Trouble BTN (back to normal) with a good tire on the passenger
front. I didn't realize it but the one I removed was bad from the git go. When we left Houston I noticed that the coach was pulling
to the right but discounted it as "things" hadn't settled down after being in storage for a year.

We dumped using the 3" hose as the macerator played up again. WHAT A PITA! I've got a new spare macerator I'm going to install
tomorrow before we leave. It's nice to have a valve upstream of the macerator so when it dies (sooner or later they all do) I don't
have to worry about dealing with a full holding tank.

Tried the ice in the holding tank cleaning trick but learned that you have to put it in slowly and use a wand to move it away from
the tube that extends from the toilet to the tank or it just piles up and you wind up with a toilet bowl full of ice! DOUH!

Visited Shadows on the Teche; a restored plantation house on Teche bayou in New Iberia. Got a personal tour as we were the only
people there! The restoration was really well done, didn't look perfect; looked as it would have in the 1800's.

On the technical side of things ran into a slight problem, had ordered a new tire from Tire Rack and added a note saying I did NOT
want a tire that was more than 6 months old when I ordered it on line. Got a call from a customer service rep noting that their
stock was from the middle of last year! I could cancel if I wanted to, which I did. I then called Discount Tire and their rep noted
they would be able to meet that requirement.

Tomorrow it's on to New Orleans, I'm gonna try the ice in the holding tank trick again!

Regards,
Rob M.
