Hi all,

I am new to the board via my recent purchase of my first GMC motorhome. I have always liked the look of them and after seeing so many people revamp theirs I knew I would not have to just settle for the OEM interior. However, before I start venturing into that area, I first need to acquire a set of side skirts as it appears the ones that were on there were somehow ripped off the fasteners, maybe due to a blowout, who knows... The PO only had limited info on it as they had used it sparingly, not even using the bath in it.... Anyways, if anyone has an extra set perhaps we can work a deal as I live in Palmdale/Lancaster, ca area..

First-
Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum.

Next, though your thought to post this on swap meet is good, be aware that a large portion of members work the group as an e-mail list and they never see the swap meet (or the sandbox).

Then, be aware that there are many non-vetted people that read this list. Some of them seem to be spambots, so never put up a clear phone nr. or @ddress.

And the T-skirts as they are called are available from Applied GMC, but there are many other parts available if you look at [url]http://www.bdub.net/GMCSupplierLinks.html[/url}

Lastly, I usually do this in the forum, but I like to welcome new owners in a special manner. You will find that the coach that you have will bring you into a community you never expected and it will become much more than another toy that you have. I (being a waterman) liken it to the way we relate to our boats. So, I have taken to welcoming new owner in similar fashion.... So,

May the Good Lord bless this coach and all those that set forth within her.

Welcome A.J.

Matt

Contact Devin Wells (devin AT Classictvcollector DOT com)

He didn't say how much he wanted for the pair, but shipping (USPS Parcel Post) from Nashville to CA shouldn't be much.

Sorry, I should have closed this thread out sooner.. I have purchased a pair from Richard in AZ so I no longer need a set of skirts.. I also went by Home Depot and purchased 2 strips of Continuous Hinge (aka Piano hinge) ..

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1-1-2-in-x-30-in-Bright-Nickel-Continuous-Hinge-15175/202034057#.UkuC3dzn-1s

to fiberglass them into the skirts that way I can flip them up later on if I need to get to the section behind it.. Thanks all for the responses..
