Howell delivered an Airtex/Master 8228 fuel pump with my EFI. Later, I
found a good buy on similar, but lower pressure 8094's and used one
successfully, stressing the fuel pressure regulator less. Before ordering
a spare to replace the one I installed at Sully's, I visited the Airtex
site. Here are the Univeral 12 VDC pumps they list. The Precision
column shows numbers I was given at O'Reilly's for their version:

Airtex Precision PSI GPH
E8094 E16116 12-17 45-50
E8228 E16118 100-125 35-40
E8248 110-120 60-70
E8445 45-65 35
E8446 105-115 50-60
All have 5/16" connections

While the first two are probably preferred, I believe any one of those
pumps would serve satisfactorily with Howell EFI. Aside from the low flow
spec., I would, in fact, prefer the E8445.
