Looking at the lower right hand corner of image IMG-03991, what is the rectangular box's function? Mine is not connected to anything, has three power transistors mounted on the heat sink, and two cables that are not connected.
I suspect that is a power amplifier for an installed Stereo radio.
Any big deal if I remove it? Perfect place to install a Raspberry Pi system.
