ON THE WAY TO COOS BAY
--YOU HAVE TO COME--
http://gmc49ers.blogspot.com/

THE QUESTION IS NOT
- IF YOU NEED THESE MODS
BUT WHEN-
- YOU NEED THESE ANSWERS-

VENDORS, VENDORS, VENDORS
you need to meet these guys- NOSE TO NOSE-

- new axles , no longer available
- 200,000 mile bearings available
- need a crate engine?
- front end - gone?
- air system leak?
- brakes old?
- need manuals?
( send bdub some $$$, he is our only hope for manuals and info- not held
hostage )
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/

We have the best of it-
just talked to an AIRSTREAM guy,
- manuals not available
- fail-on, parking brake has to be disabled
- Onan, buried, cannot be reached

just talked to 2 diesel pusher guys,
- gets hot, who will fix diesels?
- injector pump went out $6K to fix

WE ARE NOT ALONE

(personal opinion:>)

Actually Gene,
The injector pump was over $7K to fix. Cummins of Phoenix did not install
two of the rear pump mounting bolts when the PO replaced it and time and
vibration broke one of the two remaining and loosened the other one. With
a broken mounting ear, the pump was not able to be used to get a core
refund of $750.00
I am now in this thing for $25K and have only gotten to drive it 80,000
miles so far. I was in the GMC for over $50K so I'm still ahead...sort of.
