The other day I ran the Onan for about 2 hours and it ran fine. I was not driving for the first hour and half. Had one AC running. A couple of days later I had been driving for about three hours and turned on the generator and it would not run steady. I stopped and tried to adjust the carb setting but no luck. It still would not hold a steady RPM. I was having a little trouble with vapor lock at the same time when ever I stopped for a read light. So I was wondering if the gas in the tank may be heated and be causing the problem with the generator.

I have run the generator under load when not driving it ran fine. If I start out with the generator running and it runs fine for just under an hours then it starts giving trouble and has to be shut down.

My fuel pressure gauge would go to zero when I had vapor lock. I wondered if the vapor problem was partly from warm gas from the tank. I was able to start moving and once I empty the carb it was start to shut down. I let off and the fuel pressure would start to come back up and I could step on it again. Are the two problems connected.

My cash offer without me seeing the jeep is $2250; you would have to take
the jeep to a friend who lives in Canby and he would pay you cash. The
offer is open until I buy a jeep. I am talking to a fellow in Salem and
one in Eugene about their jeeps. I live in the Coos Bay area.
