Yes, it was televised on the Speed Channel, which is going away this week. Was a good show. I have not been well and was stuck in the house. I watched the entire show, from Thursday through last night. There were more than one white 57 birds that sold. Hope I can make Hot August Nights before long, in the GMC.

Most of the guys I know that brought cars and RV's got reservations at the Grand Sierra casino RV park a year ago and they paid dearly for their site as most raise their rates for the event. I called them in April and the laughed at me and said the waiting list was way long. My brother found a little trailer Rv park in the middle of town that backs to the Truckee River for $32 a night or $175 a week full hookups with wifi & cable. It was great in the middle of the action we got to hit the Reno cruise then across town to the Sparks cruise. The park dates from 1927 so the sites are small but my GMC fit ok with my 48 Ford convert. In front. The big trees gave a lot of shade. There were a dozen or so hot rods there besides us. I'll use this place again. Chisim's Rv and trailer park on 2nd st. The Barrett Jackson auction was good but the sellers were letting their cars go with no Reserve . Last year with the less known auction co.most all the cars had a reserve and they didn't sell cause there weren't a lot of buyers with Barrett Jackson more people show up. This year it was cool and it even rained on Thursday evening shutting down the Sparks cruise. We cruised the Sparks one ( Victoria ) after 10pm friday just as it was shutting down cause the band was playing "Good Night sweetheart we Gotta go".

We have a customer that was planning to take his 70 Firebird to the event
and were installing a Vintage Air unit in his car.
The care is so nice, we are protecting the car from any kind of scratches
or marks.
Those Vintage units work very well and are outfitted with good controls.
