Yes, IIRC Spartan trailers are pretty close to aircraft construction,
like the ultravan.

Went to the Great Oregon Steam Up at Brooks, OR on Saturday. 7 museums on
the grounds, all open for the event. There was a car show at the NW
Automobile and Motorcycle museum that featured old restored tear drop
trailers and cars of the correct vintage pulling them. It was a hoot.
Couple of them featured a top that came off and was a row boat. Don't
remember the names. Some were all wood construction and looked like an old
Chris Craft or Gar Wood runabouts of the era. Too nice to camp in for sure.
Pulled by everything from Ford COE's to Saab station wagons, including a
beautifully restored 1948 Oldsmobile torpedo body sedan. Neat stuff.
