Looking to replace the 40-yr-old AC on my coach. Decided the Brisk Air
II was the answer.
In digging around the Interwebs I come across some anecdotal info saying
that the BA II isn't great at cooling. One guy talking about fitting
five trailers with them and adding a second AC to make it cool enough.
If he was talking about ONE unit then he could have problems with his
particular AC. Five? Still... it's the Internet...
Anyone here actually using one of these new Dometics?

Can't say about the Dometic but I checked out a friends Coleman 13.5 on a 2006 SOB what a piece of crap. It only cools on low for any period of time when it is over 90 degrees outside realy cheaply built heck the blower was made out of stira foam I told him to sell it and buy another brand. He is considering buying a Chineeze unit.

I had the BA II on the coach I sold 2 years ago and it worked great even when the temps approached the mid 90.

Kelvin,
After looking at the spec's on the BA-II I'd say that the "trailer guy" just didn't have enough BTU capacity to cool his trailers
with one unit. Did he specify if they were 13,500 or 15,000 BTU units?
Right now Helen and I are in Houston and the OAT's are hitting over 100. We are parked north south and we're getting baked all day
long. As long as we don't go in and out repetitively the temp in the GMC will stay at 80 or below. I have two 13,500 BTU BA-I units
on Double Trouble. I can't run both of them off the 30' 30 amp cord I have so I ordered a 36' 50 amp cord which will allow me to do
so.
I reckon as long as you order a 15,000 BTU unit for your '23 you'll be good to go 99% of the time!
Regards,
Rob M.
