Hi All
I'll be trading my '97 BMW 850Ci for a '78 26' Royale next week. Its a dry, side bath model with the rear u-dinette. Has 40k on engine/trans, new F/R wheel bearings, upgraded to greaseable bearings up front, 4-bagger rear, new brake pads/shoes, new calipers & wheel cylinders all around. Diff was swapped to a 3.21, new shocks all around. Current owner said it has alloy wheels with 2yr old tires, wasn't sure if they are Alcoas or not, I'm assuming/hoping they are.
The one thing it doesn't have is a hitch. I've sent several emails to folks advertising on some of the GMC specific sites, but have not received any responses.
Are there any sources for a used thru-bumper hitch?
Hopefully it'll tow my boat, it will be really cool having a vintage RV towing a vintage 1978 Glastron/Carlson CV23 jet boat.
