Thanks Larry!(and thanks for responding Bruce)
That would make sense as I thought the one was heading toward the water heater. However I couldn't seem to locate it at the heater itself...weirdness!
I have the center kitchen model, where the sink and stove are on the right side, just rear of the entry door and the fridge is directly across the door on the left beside the washroom.
Where do your yellow wires attach to draw their power? Is it on the lower connection on the round black circuit breaker?
I ran all my batteries down a couple weeks ago, because I didn't turn off the water heater switch. I soon found out this is why the batteries went dead. As I first hooked up my battery charger to the generator battery in the rear. I heard this clicking type noise coming from the water heater. I went to turn off the water heater switch and noticed the red warning light coming from the switch. I thought the light over the course of the week drained all the batteries.
However I now wonder if it was the water heater itself, and not the light that killed the batteries.
I would have assumed if one switches off the house breaker it would kill the power in the house. With these two appliances hooked directly to the third battery, it would appear that's not the case.
That is why I am curious as to where it is supposed to connect, because my wires have had work done to them and the PO may have changed the place they draw from.
(Also is the link to the pictures working now? I can access them from this message)

My water heater is a propane unit, so I only need 12v for the igniter and regulator.
As for the color yellow, somewhere in the harness it changes color. Mine went to light blue on the water heater and Brown at the refer. Power with the fuse is from the isolator. Weird wiring....

While I like a lot of things on the Royales and Birchaven's, I am not impressed with Coachman's electrical systems.
I also have the "yellow" wires on my '78. (I would have to look at my '77 to check.) They should be drawing power from the non-battery side of the "round black circuit breaker." Also they should each have an in-line fuse. (Not really a good practice to spread fuses all over, but maybe when I rewire the coach... )
I have not traced the wires back, but it wouldn't surprise me that they would change color.
You might want to read my other posts about Royales and the house batteries.

I'm going to assume that this is the non-battery side, except mine does have the third battery connected to this post also. Is this incorrect? Is the third battery supposed to connect on the upper side or same side as the second battery?
However should these two batteries not be isolated from each other as well?
I will definitely do a search on Mike's wiring concerning Coachman ...

This was my last post on the Royale batteries:

The 120vac side (shore power) also has some "special differances." Mostly dealling with the second air conditioner... if installed.

It looks like the wires that are connected to the in line fuses are light
blue. On my 78 Royale one goes to the water heater switch under the
microwave and the other one goes to the refrigerator

Great Info! Thanks Mike and Larry! Your feedback has gone along way to
helping understand what's going on.
I have fixed up the wiring job from the previous owner and re-connected the
wiring to the place I took it off from. Which was the lower attaching point
on the round black circuit breaker.
I'm going to assume that this is the non-battery side, except mine does have
the third battery connected to this post also. Is this incorrect? Is the
third battery supposed to connect on the upper side or same side as the
second battery?
However should these two batteries not be isolated from each other as well?

Can you guys view this picture? (pre wire fix up but this is how I
reconnected, notice third battery connected on lower part of circuit
breaker)
