My track width (center tire to center tire) on my 73 GMC MH #29 is 75.5 inches up front and 83 inches in the back, a difference of 7.5 inches. Is that normal on all the GMCs? I have the Alcoa wheels.

I am considering a 1 ton front end replacement and I am wondering just how much that would move the front wheels out. I am told they will line up but I can't imagine they move out 3.75 inches.
