Hi all,
I recently purchased a very nice '75 Palm Beach from the family of the original owner that was located in Palm Beach,Fla. It hasn't been driven in 12 years and I have had it towed to Alex Surim's place to get it road worthy for its trip back to Canada. It is a very original '75 and my plan is to keep it as original as possible. I need a good (no cracks) Palm Beach steering wheel, If anyone has a real good one they have replaced I would purchase it.
Thanks ,

Hello Bob -

I have a steering that might suit...

It the original wheel off of a 1973 coach. I'll take some pictures tonight and send them to you.

But... perhaps there was something special about a Palm beach wheel ??

I have one out in BC. Still on the GMC, but I have another one to put on. Right now I'm in Ontario. I should be home in a week or so.

Hi Steve,
I don't think the color is right on the '73,
The Palm Beach is a green wheel.
I appreciate the reply.

1975 Palm Beach steering wheel would be green and a three spoke. All the steering wheel like these that I have seen, the plastic outer circle is broken in pieces. There is a sold metal insert that goes around the circumference inside the plastic. My wheel has a leather wrap that holds all the broken pieces in place. This is what is should look like: http://bdub.net/publications/1975%20Palm%20Beach/1975_Palm_Beach2.htm
You can restore it yourself or there are companies that do it, see the following pic of a 1974 Cad wheel.... looks like ours other than color and Cad emblem.

Hey Bob

I have a nice green one with no cracks. I will have to locate the horn bits.
And the BEST part...I am in New Brunswick!

let me know if I need to find all the parts or not.

Hi Adam,
I would like to buy that S/Wheel, even if you don't have all of the horn stuff, I can use the parts from my wheel.
Email me the price and I will make arrangements to get it.
Thanks
