Cleaning up electrocs in Olga is a very interesting job. Pulled out miles of unnessesary wiring, like a feed from the rear house batteri to the engineheather. Why have this when there is this huge wire there already ?
There is no more isolater, but a very flimsy combiner ( that we call a splitter) that allows the engine to charge the house batteri, but does not allow my charger to load the engine batteri. I replaced the combinere with a victron cyrix itellegent combiner 120 amp. That allows charging both ways
Now i am just wondering about the breaker at the rear batteries This breaker is 60 amps. The engine gives 100 amps. My charges 70 amps
How can this ever (have)) worked. And should I replace it with a 120 amps as recommended by victron
