The comments about what to do with my GMC MH films has been amusing, concerning and needless. Thanks to a couple of you that have that figured out, the rest of you might want to pay attention, or not.

First of all, I have given many hours thought as to how best preserve these items, not to worry. After all, if I hadn't made a significant effort many years ago to FIND the one and only copy (rare?, no, the ONLY one!) they very likely would not exist, at all. It was important back then to find them, it is important to me now they not be lost.

The next issue seems to be the cost. Every time someone on the GMC net talks about a group buy or some way to get their part cheaper, I do a slow burn! We are a shrinking market, our vendors have a very difficult time as it is, give them your business, or we will not have them very long. Any guesses on what happens then?

And now lets discuss MY film prices:

2DVD set Showroom films = ~10 gallons fuel

CD GMC History =~5 gallons fuel

new* DVD Workprint film = ~ 5 gallons fuel

So there, for less than 1/2 of a GMC fill up you can enjoy many hours of interesting entertainment and information to be found nowhere else.

*new Workprint film is nearly ready. I have my copy and if my DVD guy didn't want every nit perfect, you could have yours too. Will let you know when.

** Those of you that have the GMC Showroom film may note at the bottom of the front cover it states: "General Motors Corp. Used with permission, GM Media Archives".

GM made me do that to indicate I had requested their permission to use their copyrighted material.

Rant off
