Is anyone GMC'ing to the Oshkosh Air Show this year? I have not attended before, but plan to this year. I plan on arriving mid-afternoon on Sunday July 27th, and staying till Sunday morning August 3rd.
Not having been there does it matter where I park at Camp Scholler? It sounds like it's so big you end up where you end up.

Craig, I believe you are correct, too late to prepay, I think where you park is determined by when you arrive. They are well organized, and efficient, they will take good care of you. I attended in 2008 camped with the plane in the north 40. Take a bike or two, lots of ground to cover. They also have a tram system that will get you to where you want to go, lots of info at eaa.org or airventure. You will love it.

Larry,
Thanks for the info. I did get the sale price entrance and camping stuff in early June, so I'm all set there. I think they only let you reserve a camping space if you spring for the electric hook-ups, which I was too cheap for.
A friend of mine who is a long-time attendee is joining me on Monday or Tuesday for most of the rest of the week, so I'll have an experienced guide for a good part of it. I've been wanting to go for about 5 years now, so I'm pretty excited to get there. Plus they recently announced that Chicago is going to play for the Monday night concert, so I'm glad I'm getting there Sunday.
