Yes, I work for Jim K. At the conventions. Yes I am partial to The Jim's, both of them. They have individual strengths.
Sunday I told Jim K. I had burned out my Ramco Mirror switch. He told me not to worry, he will have one drop shipped. Dang, it already arrived and I have it installed. That was fast.
Thanks,
Dan

OK - I'll bite. How did you "burn out" the Ramco switch????? Was it a true "burn out" or just a failure?

Got the wires to the left mirror smashed and shorted. Blew fuse. Did not have my glasses. 7.5 amp fuse looked like 1.5 to me.
We are back in business now with 2 amp fuse and the wires repaired.

Someday JimK will start shipping us the parts we need before we need them, but for now we will just have to put up with the hang-up the phone and run to the door level service.

That's too funny!

I used to work at a small company with a very big brotherish sysadmin. He would watch error logs on all the servers.
Every once in a while you'd get a call from him telling you something was wrong before you even noticed it.
Like you're entering the network path wrong, it should be....

very un-nerving
