Last September my buddies chipped in for a rear-view camera for the coach. They went a little high-end, but I'm not complaining. I've been drooling over it but didn't want to install it until I replaced the headliner. Well this weekend I mounted the camera bracket at the centerline of the rear window using wellnuts. The pigtail from the camera, though, is only about 6' long, so I'd have to penetrate the rear of the coach somewhere. I called the company, Rear View Safety, to see if I could exchange the camera for one with a longer pigtail. Sean called me back this morning and said that they would swap (no charge!) the camera for one with a 30' cord.
I'm astounded with that kind of service. With a 30' cord I can choose the best place to enter the coach and simply snake the cable around the rear window in the gap so that it's almost invisible.
I'll do my best to post pictures, but I always seem to get caught up in the work and forget to take pictures.
The unit I have looks to be of very high quality and will accept 3 inputs for the color screen.
