Saturday Frank Sundram and I went to see the abandon coach I had mentioned. We discussed the situation at length and Frank made the landowner an offer that was accepted.
No Title, No Key, but it is his now.
Over the next couple of weeks we will cut some brush, air up the rear and as many of the tires as will hold air and arrange for it to be dragged back to my place. That is only about 6 miles and I have room. Then we will asses what it is worth either as salvage parts or possibly a running coach. Where that come down is anybody's guess at this time.
One of my first efforts will be to pull the steering wheel and get the lock cylinder out so I can get a key made just because that will make doing so much that we have to do so much simpler.
I will let everybody know where this goes when I know more.
