[GMCnet] Manny's Method of Tranny Removal [message #213482] |

All,
Manny's website has been updated somewhat (there's still more to go). He
has provided information regarding his method of dropping the
transmission. Warning - your mileage may vary - don't try this at home
without adequate supervision - there is no guarantee that this method will
work - etc.
Now, if some of you would kindly bug the gentleman into supplying me some
accurate descriptions of what products he offers I'd appreciate the
assistance. Though I've put some stuff together for him, the accuracy of
every description may vary from reality.
My Allison six-speed is vastly different from the THM425.

Dan,
Stop holding your breath, else you'll get blue in the face. When I got to
Manny's, about the first thing he said was that I would have to learn to
make those grilles (he's bought the equipment to do the in-house). During
my 3 weeks there, we never go close to caught up enough to even consider
it. 425's, 1-Tons, Manny Brakes, and many other products and ideas keep
getting in the way -- including rescues like the Works'.
