Email is not appropriate to send huge files like (~20mb) operators manuals.
Most folks have a maximum email storage capacity of 10mb. Over that, they
will be informed that their mailbox is full. That includes normal email,
attachments, spam, and junk that got hung up in the corners.
The correct way to send files larger than a meg or two is by a url so that
they can download at their leisure.

Also, dropBox.com is great for sharing large files privately.

I am aware of that, Billy. That is why I used Acrobat Pro to optimize the PDF file to a size of about 6 mb before I sent it. It can be sent fine at that size.
