We bought our 78 10 years ago. The coach records indicated that the front bearings had been serviced by a good truck repair company 3 years before. I still went a head and took them apart anyway. I soon found that they apparently didn't have the tools, or the knowledge to do the task correctly. Peace of mind is a wonderful thing to drive on. Bob Dunahugh

We have a special bearing grease packer we use in our shop.
Only way to check the clearance on the bearing is to press it on without
greasing, as it is hard to get the real clearance when grease is on the
bearing.
Once the clearance is measured ( .002-- .004" ) then we use our greaser cup
to inject grease into the bearing.
If anyone might be interested, we can find out what our machinist can make
some for.people.

I would interested to see what it looks like, before committing to a purchase.

Jim
I belive you have listed on your site a tool or jig to greese front bearings without removal?
I am not refering to installing the zerk fitting.
I would appreciate you opinion on this process. My budget and skill level is not up to removing the bearing, but the gerbal inside my head tells me a little greease added can be better than doing nothing.
thanks
brian
