pretty sure they were Energy suspension.
Of course they were from 99 so maybe theyve improved them by now.

I just don't see the benefit on a car thats not a race car.
Of course then you should be using solid bushings anyway...

A lot of the old stock was machined from blocks of urethane. Most of them
ended up like yours after some use and age. The ones we use in the GMCs
are poured and are of a very specific durometer rating. They are nearly
indestructible and should be the last set you ever install. I have
switched a couple of cars over to urethane bushings and would not do it
again with the exception of the sway bar mounts. Too darn brittle of a
ride. The rubber bushings in the GMC were really made for an automobile
and their service life is shortened up by the tremendous amount of weight
they carry, not to mention the terrible condition many of our roads are
in. Urethane bushings seem to be the cure for shortcomings of the OEM
rubber bushings in addition to being much easier to install.

Got it.

Made a new page for videos. Guess I better start archiving these.

http://www.bdub.net/videos/Bushing%20Removal.mp4

Send urls to me that you think should be included on that page.
