Every time it rained while driving I had water dripping through the head liner by the rear view mirror.
I sprayed water on the windshield, clearance lights and sun visor and finally tracked the leak down to the spot light. It sealed with a 1/8" rubber gasket.
Would it be best to replace the gasket or use "sillycone" to repair the leak?
Thanks

Ross,
The best plan of action would be to disassembly the area that is leaking and thoroughly clean and dry it. Use the original gasket with thin layer of silicone on both sides and where the shaft goes thru. Less is actually better than too much. It should just barely squeeze out. JHIWDI
