Man, look how high the rear end is! I don't think mine is that high and
it's on jack stands!

After 50, or so, the rear end does droop. The front end doesn't always wait that long…

I'm not sure this puts GMCs in a good light ...it smacks of that Pimp Rock My RV buffoonery. But this is the the least offensive shot I could grab.

Wondered if anyone else goes thru the same thoughts that I do when I see a GMC that has been changed/modified/abused over the years, what was it originally (year & model)?

After looking at this one, I say it was originally a 1978 Kingsley or Eleganza II.

What do you think and why?

Bill,

You are not alone. I do the very same thing. I first noticed the clean roofline then the paint scheme. I thought of Kingsley too. It looks like a later model because of the window frames.

78 Kingsley:

Unless anyone has a more positive I.D., I'm going to declare on BestClassA the Anchorman 2 coach to likely be a 78 Kingsley and use the above picture to show what a current, for-real Kingsley looks like in 2013.

3 more pics from around the web taken while the coach was in transit. Apparently, the GMC is destroyed or burned out during the movie.

Between this and Aquabats we should be looking at a major rise in coach values as everyone will want one. Gear up Jims, it's gonna be a BIG year!!
