Hi Jim,

I started this no vapor lock topic because I, too, have been surprised at not yet ever needing the electric fuel pump anytime but first thing in the morning. Given all this heat for the whole time since we left you guys I expected to be hitting the switch fairly frequently. So, why not? Is it the large fuel filter/water separator that may form a reservoir near the mechanical fuel pump? Is it the ethanol conditioners? Is it the name brand fuel? Is it the low altitude? Is it the constant highway speeds? Something is causing this good outcome and all our owners might benefit from figuring out why.

I have not wanted to comment more on the tire hop until I could get the fronts rebalanced to see if they were off or not. I will let you know but the hop is real and most prevalent at 65 but still there at other speeds as well.

The Maxx Air vents are terrific! We both like these better than the Fantastic vents on our Royale. There is no wind noise open or closed so we have far more options. They were both up during a hard wind/rain storm a couple of nights ago. No leaks, no wind noise, etc. just great performance. One of the best features is the one button 78 degree switch. Push it as you leave the coach and it will set the fan to blow out and try to keep the temp down while you are gone. Slick when you don't want/need to use the roof air wile you go shopping. It is also nice to be able to reverse direction without stopping the fan. Just hit the reverse button and the fan will stop itself, reverse direction and speed back up to the fan speed previously selected.

I did warn everyone about the fuse issue a few posts back. Our fuse in that lower right location is a 20 amp fuse so the pump runs with no issue. If I were running this pump all the time I would want a larger than 16 gauge wire that feeds the selector valve according to the factory manuals.

Jerry,
?
I'd love to stick my chest out and take credit but really, I am surprised you have not had to resort to kicking the aux pump!? For the rest of you, we tapped in the canister marine style seperator right at the fuel crosspipe.? The rest of the system is bone stock, new vapor seperator, new A/B solenoid, ethanol resistent 3/8" hose run the way the book says.?
?
Jerry, still please test the electric fuel pump each time you start the coach.? If you find you need it, you know it will work.? We have had 2 coaches had blown fuses rendering the countermeasure useless.
?
Great to hear, I know you mind is going fast creating data-- please keep it up.? One question from an earlier post, you said you had a vibration at 65 mph, can you drive through it or is it pretty much on you anything over 65 mph!
?
See guys, I have people all year coming and going, bunches of them have stuff we've dealt with, sometimes I only hear about things when there is a problem, you guys are see hopefully all of the good things but also the other stuff too!? Hey, I enjoy it-- Hey Jerry, talk a little about those Maxvent fans you have-- how are they doing and all?
?
Enquiring Minds...
?
