The state Department of revenue kicked back my title applications. I have
to go see my county tax lady tomorrow and take my bills of sale. The
problem is that they want the bills of sale notarized, and nobody does
that! The notarization requires that the buyer and seller sign in front of
the notary, and ain't nobody got time for that! The usual solution to this
is for people to fraudulently swear or affirm that everything is
hunky-dory. I, has an attorney of the great state of Mississippi, swore an
oath not to lie cheat or steal, so I cannot lie on a notarized document and
say that it was witnessed by X number of people when it was not.
The good news is that I was able to get in touch with the people that sold
me both coaches, and if I have to they are agreeable to me catching up with
them and doing new notarized bills of sales.
I am going to attempt to use what I have and just fast talk my way to new
titles. If that doesn't work I'm going to have to make a couple of flying
road trips. All of this has to be done in a short timeframe because some of
these people are very old others are nearing retirement and planning on
getting the hell out of Dodge. Also the title bond is only good for 30 days.
I have Wednesday off, and Tom Phipps may be coming. Unfortunately I also
have a dentist appointment that day.

Obviously wa state could and probably is different when it comes to vehicle sales but if the people who sold you the coaches were the titled owners of the coaches and they just misplaced the physical title then the two of you can go to the. Dept of licensing together and transfer ownership with id and vin in Wa.
Or is it far more complicated than that?
