I have a friend with a 1990 Chev Caprice hearse.(Superior). It was stolen some time back and recovered after the thief had crashed it. It is now under restoration but parts have not been easy to find. In particular the drivers door glass; tinted, tempered, curved, about 4" taller than stock. I thought that with all the projects and experience on this forum someone might be able to suggest where it might be possible to have this custom made.

Thanks for any ideas.

Jim,

Have you been able to contact Superior?
They may well have a contact for small runs or even have the part in stock.

There are companies that do single pieces of laminated glass, but unfortunately, I have misplaced that contact book.

Good Luck

Matt

Do a Google search of other builders...there are several. They get the odd
sizes and small runs from somewhere ...let us know what you find.
I did not mention drivers window..<g>

Matt and Michael,
Thanks for the suggestions. I will pass them along. We're hoping to see "Last Ride" back on the road.
