Greetings all -
As the topic suggests, I'm looking to replace my original roof top air. Any and all comments are certainly appreciated. The plastic cover flew off somewhere in Arizona - and now I have this hulk of a device up on the roof... And - I figure that a new unit will likely cool alot better.
Preferring a low profile unit.
I've read of our preference for Carrier units - but they're pretty much all gone...
In my research - one shop says that the Carrier unit was actually manufactured by Gree... Anyone know ??
Thanks !!

ok I have it installed its a 13.5 its very well made easy to install. It has a auto setting witch is great so you don't freeze at night when you don't want to get up to turn the fan down . love the remote. I have it installed in the front hole so it blows on the drivers seat. the blower pushes ail all the way to the windshield and I can feel the air while I'm driving. I could not feel the air with the Coleman unit from the drivers set. the vents have a oscillate mode witch is cool. the only draw back that I can see is the controls on the ceiling package is hard to see its on the bottom and not the side so just use the remote and the roof unit is about 1" or so taller my back Coleman so that means I will buy one for the back to match

Does the Gree unit have vents that blow through both forward and rearward? I assume it does...?
My coach only has one AC unit currently. Does anyone know if they are pre-wired for more than one unit from the factory?
I haven't torn my ceiling down yet to find out. IF it is not pre-wired, how hard is it to wire a second unit? And is it worth it? What is required to wire it?
Thanks,
Steve
