I installed a Leigh Harrison suspension system a couple years ago. About a year ago I bought a spare bag from a truck parts supply house online, ordered by Firestone stock part number. It slow leaked requiring reinflating every 2 months.
Thought it was fittings at first. Changed fittings to compression, used enough soap bubbles until you could eat off it. Had a blow out on that side, bag started leaking completely down over night. Texted firestone explaning in detail the story.
"Tyler" was my correspondent. He took my name, address phone number, year, make and model of the GMC. He then told mr that they could not warrant the bag because it was not part of an Air-Ride kit. Finally convinced him that it was a standard Firestone stock item. He then said they would not replace it because it wa not designed by firestone. Told him that Leigh Harrison
Was an engineer and had consulted with Firestone before he marketed the product to the public. Tyler still refused to replace the defective bag. Told him that he was about to become famous, and.firestone will lose a bunch more customers. Btw I reinstalled the original bag and it is holding.

Bob,
If my memory serves me will when I read the Firestone specs on the bellows types of bags you will find that they are meant to be
installed with the ends horizontal and the misalignment of the ends limited to 25 degrees.
I'll try and find the info above in the Firestone documentation.
Regards,
Rob M.

Give me the bag # and I should be able to get it covered for you.
Anyone that sell things need to take care of their
customers.
We take care of other shops warranty to help out.
Get me the info, as I'm sure we purchased several of the same bags that
Harrison uses.
