G'day,

I have a couple of these and they are really great; the best thing is that the arms are solid and you can push down on them to help
you get up.

http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/random-photos/p49427-harbor-freight-folding.html

Note that the coupon expires 6/6/2013.

Regards,
Rob M.

<<best thing is that the arms are solid and you can push down on them to help>>

Thanks for the coupon Rob, saves $14 on a couple of them vs lowest adv price. I was just saying last night we should get new chairs and wanted to try this style.

All the "reviews" say this is a fantastic chair, even one from a guy that says he weighs 450 !!!! Worth a try to check out the table and pocket.
Would suggest Rob that when you push on the arms to get up, hold near the front or rear of the arm, near the legs, not in the middle of the span. Smile

does this mean you have to sit on your face?

It makes it hard to drink beer sitting on your face.

Don,

Actually I lied - a little bit - we got ours from Sam's several years ago (paid more) and they are steel. However, I sat in one of
these at HF (265 lb) and picked it up and wished I needed a couple as they were MUCH lighter than our steel ones.

Rob M.

Actually, the coupon is a ONE-DAY offer,

good only on 6/6/2013!

The local store honored it for me with an

override anyway. I bought four of them!

Thanks, Rob.

You got even better Mac, the coupon says limit 3!

It may take all four to last as long as Rob's steel one?

Hmmm.... The linked picture says 1 per customer per day. Since it says
only on 6/6/2013, I assume 1 total...? I'll have to take someone with me.

Daniel,

I have mastered Harbor Freight speak and when the coupon notes::

"LIMIT 3 - VALID ONLY ON 6/6/13" Means you might be able to talk them into getting more than 3 and on another day as demonstrated by
Mac in OKC.

"Limit one coupon per customer per day." Means you can't bring two coupons and get six chairs.

I got to know one of the managers at the local HF store and you'd be surprised what they can do vis-à-vis warranties and coupons.

Speaking of HF warranties I normally do not buy extended warranties because I'm only here 3 months a year and I don't use the tools
enough to burn them out. However, I bought one of their Vibratory Cleaners last year and the 2 year warranty was only $9.99 on top
of the sale price so I went for it. This year I was using it to clean some bolts for the VW towd I'm building when the whole plastic
top came flying off! I took it back and after being grilled by the HF warranty department in CA (I felt they were trying to get me
to say I did something I wasn't supposed to do to deny the warranty) I got a new one. As the cashier was ringing up the sale she
asked me if I wanted to buy an extended warranty on the new unit. I said no because I still had a year to go on the warranty. She
noted that the two year warranty on the unit I brought in was "used up." I said no as the warranty was $19.99 because the unit was
not on sale.

Bottom line: HF extended warranties are actually one time replacement warranty within the warranty period.

Regards,
Rob M.

We have similar chairs we bought at Sportsman's Warehouse. Only ours are steel and heavy. The disadvantages of that are obvious, but the advantage is that they stay put in the wind. At several Saguaro Jetset rallies, the wind has come up over night, and blown everyone else's chairs all over, but ours have stayed right where we left them.

Mac,

Must be something at your end.

I just clicked on the link in the message on the Forum.

When the picture came up on the Photosite I LEFT clicked on the photo which opened a larger copy in a new window.

I then RIGHT clicked on the photo and selected "Print Picture."

The result was a coupon 2" wide and 3" tall well legible.

Rob M.

My print of the coupon was also quite fuzzy. But the clerk made it work and I bought two.

The quality seems ok. The fabric is heavier than I thought it might be, even has a bit of a cushion in the seat. I love having the table and the several pockets attached. The light weight is nice for carrying, I'm sure it will blow in the wind and won't last forever. But for $23 looks like a good value.

Thanks Rob for the coupon and the heads up.

Thanks. After reading this note I boldly went in and got their last 3
today. I brought a spare coupon just in case. The cashier never even
read it, just scanned it.

I have a wonderful world with folding tables and chairs and decorations outdoor fire,
video, real cool. However I am now researching some inflateable stuff for a soft place for the bottom. Its tough to spend any real time in any style chair even with cushions.
I have it all packed proper too with space to spare.
