Any idea what the best clutch fan is for my 75 GMC? Not sure if one is listed for the motorhome, should I try for a 75 Toronado?
Brand preference? Or should I just go to NAPA or O'Reilly and hope for the best?
Once I get the clutch fan, I try to recharge the dash AC, apparently it has already been converted to R134 according to my ace mechanic dude...
I'm buying 6 Volt Batteries tomorrow and will try to start the generator and test the fridge...
I feel a sense of accomplishment... I got all the locks re-keyed and installed and they work..LOL

Applied has the Delco HD and another lower priced clutch.
If someone converted to 134a it should have the addaptor fittings on the service ports. Hopefully they flushed and changed to the proper oil. If it if empty of charge be sure to pull a vacuum before adding. Most here will recommend Duracool as the way to go but I still use R12 as system holds it so well year to year.

not knowing where you are located, but if you do a lot of mountains
you will definitely need the ac-delco heavy duty, but if you are in say
Florida, just an OEM replacement should do fine.
I have the heavy duty and it sounds like a turbine engine when it
engages, and sometimes there is a race betweeon fan rpm and
belt squeal, I don't think the kinder fan clutch would cause the squeal.

Well, Heavy Duty might be a misnomer...

When I did that testing, my dyslexia must've kicked in as the 9727 Hayden
listed, is actually 2797.

I spoke with Kanomata and he suggested the middle (heavy duty, not extreme duty) GM one of which he had and has stock. Which is what I got, works fine fine.

I'll second that that recommendation. Get the AC Delco one and not the Hayden one because it turns on at too low of a temperature.
