Thought I was going to need to pull an "Arch" and push it with the bug.

Don't just hate it especially when the tires are all freshly cleaned. Same thing happened to my coach in my side yard. The ground was softer than I thought. Glad you made it out. Loved the bug show on your blog. I have two old bugs, in which one will be a toad eventually, whichever project gets finished first. I have three projects going at once, the GMC, the 72 and the 73 Beetle. Your rigs make a good matching pair.

Great Jerry. I hated vdubs after having one while in college and blowing it up. 40 horse and I kept it on the floor all the time.
For some unknown reason when I saw the old baja that Gene Fisher had for sale, I wanted it. We towed it home from Oregon and went to work on it. Cheapest hotrod, to maintain, that I have ever owned. Now I am hooked on the simplicity of the thing. Folks old and young smile when they see it.
Just posted a few more photos. Colsyn and I are waiting for the rain to pass right now.
Sure glad we have the GMC to sleep in. 4 6 volt batteries are great hooked to the panels. Everyone around me is plugged in to ac. I told them I dont need it. Too cool for air conditioning here.
