I know they are available as a LRE. I have the older M/S before the new 2. Go to TireRack and get the spec sheet for all the details like load and revs per mile.

The "LT" in LTX signifies Light Truck design/usage.

Hi Jay

Consumer Reports tested LT tires a few months ago. Their top rated tire was the LTX MS2 but the only LRE tire with a lower than
average rolling resistance was the Goodyear Wrangler SRA. I had the SRA tires on my 1/2 ton and was pleased with them.

I got a set of those a couple weeks ago from Discount Tire. Was $1100 for 7, I had also bought tires for our van, so they gave me an additional 5% off. Was very pleased with there service. I brought the wheels in when they opened and picked them up early afternoon.

Hi Jay;

If you are a member of FMCA you can purchase Michelin Tires through their
discount program. A big savings and your getting a real good tire. Check
it out.
It doesn't cost much to join then the next step is to become a member in
the GMC Cascaders. www.gmc-cascaders.com
