Instead of a paint job, I am looking into removing our old faded stripes on our Painted Desert and putting new ones on as our overall paint job is still very good. Does anyone know the actual color numbers of the original two stripes?
My current stripes are far too faded to get an idea of what color they were intended to be. And my wife (proud owner of a 72 bright Orange Super Beetle) is very partial to the color Orange so no problem in that department.
