Okay, so my wife tells me that the travel Channel is running a contest to
audition one's RV for the TV show.

I like to think I'm pretty handy with a video camera and editing. I've been
told that I have a fairly good sense of comedic timing. I might be able to
make a good case for one of my coaches.

On the other hand, I find it a bit of a stretch to say that very many RV
owners would be "deserving". I mean, I don't have very much money at all,
but I have enough where I'm able to play with restoring these things...
Even though I'm currently running into trouble with my storage lot and I
don't actually have enough money to do some of the things that need to be
done right now, I will have it at some point in the future. The first two
owners featured on the show were a family who appeared to be doing fairly
well for themselves, and a small business that seems to be fairly
successful. These were hundred thousand dollar coaches that were being
restored.

For that reason part of me doesn't really feel worthy, I'm an attorney, I
have a federal job. What business do I have asking for help from these
folks? Furthermore would it make good television?

My wife is a Veteran. She's 100% service connected, and I don't want to go
it any further into it than that. I'd like to be able to take her places
and have fun using the coach.

Anyway, I am going to put together a script and some of my old video
footage and shoot some new stuff and give it a try. I am open to
suggestions or comments or whatever. The GMC community has been a enormous
help so far.

I did during the opening montage some scenes involving a GMC. So, I know
they've worked on them before.
