From the pictures I would say it "was" a 1976 Palm Beach. (Electro-Level switches on dash, green panels in the bath.)
I do know of a v8 diesel being installed in a GMC... and it WAS done in Europe, but that coach is now in New Mexico.

es ist ein 6 1/2 Liter V8 GM Diesel ohne Turbolader.
(Ein Sidewinder Torbolader wäre nachrüstbar.)
In English 6,5 liter gm diesel without turbo

Rippled effect on lower body panels on left side is normal because of different expansion rates of the Al and plastic parts used.
Marc did Avery very nice diesel installation, so it can be done.
Price is out if sight.

Looks to have the original 16.5" wheels, I wonder how available those tires
are in Europe and at what cost?

It’s not outrageous if he can get it. And if that’s what the market will bear, imagine the opportunities. Every dead coach rotting In a cornfield would worth restoring. Pretty sure RORO from the East Coast to Liverpool is pretty cheap, it’s around $1500 for a car.

Appie,
The GMC I have in Australia was imported, converted to RHD, and "restored" by the previous owner. He did an OK job but because I am
a perfectionist I went crazy and gutted it to do it all over. At any rate I know he paid $15,000 for it from a dealer in El Paso, TX
by the time he finished the coach he had $85,000 in it. I got lucky and got it for $30,000.
One of the things that contributed to that cost was the fact that any modifications to a vehicle in New South Wales is that the work
must be done under the supervision of an engineer with a degree in automotive engineering with a license from the NSW Roads and
Traffic Administration.
If I am not mistaken in Germany they have a similar system called TUV. When I was building hot rod Harley's in Hong Kong I had one
customer who was from Germany. I asked him if he wanted me to use parts that had TUV approval and he said not to bother he would
never be moving back to Germany. Six months later he lost his job in HK and went back to Germany and he could not get his Harley
registered. He owned a vacation home in Portugal and wound up registering it there.
Now for those of you who think this is ridiculous I was speaking to Bill Bramlet at a GMCMI Convention one time and the subject came
up and when he heard of the onerous rules in NSW he noted that it was ridiculous. I asked him how many modified cars he had worked
on in his life that he wouldn't ride in. He thought for a moment and gave me an understanding look and said; "you've got a point
there."
Regards,
Rob M.

Yes we are very envious about your liberal system.
Overal in Europe cars go for control once a year and every change has to be approved
Some countrys are more stricked then others.
Olga, that I bought in Germany has the Algoa's written in the papers as approved, but not the quadrabags or the new braks or precissionsteering. The good thing is that officials have no way og knowing this is not original, and I will not tell them.
But we have no change to built those fantastic conversions you have in the states

Here is my story
Back twenty years ago.
I picked up a Chevy pickup with a broken 6.2 Diesel engine cheap.
The engine had the crank hanging the bottom of the pan.
We replaced it with a Olds 350 gas engine from the wrecking yard.
Total cost just short of $1,000
Our daughter had truck for school and to pick up feed for her 4 H Steer.
We sold it when Kaliforina got wind of what folks where doing with broken Diesel engine cars and trucks.
