Going through "Olga" and redoing the kitchen I am wondering : do I really need 3 vents from the black tank ?
Would make my life easier to omit the one at the kitchen

You want to keep that vent in the kitchen because it's not a black tank vent, it's a 'siphon breaker' for the kitchen sink drain plumbing.
If you don't vent the drain plumbing what happens is when you let the water out of the sink it creates a siphon action and when the sink empties the p-trap will empty also. An empty p-trap would then let sewer gasses come back up the sink drain and cause a bad smell in the coach. The siphon action that is created in the p-trap is just like hpw a toilet works, only a toilet is refilled with water to keep it's trap full.

You've always got to have "Air behind Water" or things won't drain properly or even drain at all. You could combine the vents INSIDE the coach and have fewer holes in the roof but you have to vent every drain. My house has lots of plumbing but due to some careful planning and good advice by my plumbing inspector, I only have two vents going through the roof.
Some of the ventless adapters could be used.

Thanks for all the sensible answers I will let it in. The reason I'd rather be without is that the Y connection is missing and ofcourse it is difficult to find the right (inch) stuff overhere

Speaking of vents, all three of mine are completely deteriorated and need to be replaced (vent caps). Anyone have a source for these. I looked at campersworld.com but I'm not sure they will fit properly.

Jon,
The vent caps are available at most RV stores. I know that my local RV dealer has the replacement cap that fit. You need to check our your local RV dealers parts.

I won't get this quite right, but in a combination vent (waste and vent combined in the same pipe), the highest part of the pipe where it joins an air only vent line has to be above the lowest part of the pipe where it meets the trap. So, with a traditional 1/4" per foot slope, and a 1-1/2" combined vent, it would have to be located less than 6' away from where the nearest air only vent pipe meets it.
