Thanks for the nice comments, Jeremy. It should be a lot of fun and people from other parts of the country who have not spent time on the central Oregon coast are in for a real eye opening treat. It is spectacular, especially with all the fall colors.

We have tried to accommodate our still working GMCers by having special weekend only rates and the hotel is offering discounted rates to our attendees who cannot bring a coach. We have the culinary arts tour and wine pairing event on Saturday followed by the Saturday night BBQ and the media day event planned for Sunday. Vendor demos in the morning and coach open houses in the afternoon. While it would be more than a bit of a stretch to call this an easy long weekend from Birmingham, it is not out of the question for those of you closer who are still working. Coos Bay is about a four hour drive from the Portland, OR airport or about two and a half hours from the airports in Eugene or Medford, OR.

Wow. This looks like an outstanding rally. If I wasn't a full-time worker bee with a young family on the other side of the country I'd be looking forward to going. Looks like an amazing amount of work and thought went into this event. Good luck and I hope you have an amazing turnout. Events like this are part of what makes the GMC community so special.
