This was the best Bean Station ever. The 25th. All kinds of stuff going on, emergency cable install, disc brake/reaction install, drum brake/reaction install, steering columns repairs, front weight balance checked, oils changed, leaks fixed, oil cooler line replaced. The food was all home cooked and plenty of it. Did not rain till supper Saturday. It was perfect.

Thanks Chuck. I am sorry I missed this gathering. One of the most fun ones we have attended.

Some of my favorite people were there, including thee. Thanks for sharing
the photos and thanks for taking them.

I don't understand how a rain that moved in from Dixie missed the
Dixielanders. Oh well, Derby was soggy here but not there. Probably a good
thing because that hill can be mean on wet grass, unless you're a
four-footed critter.

Thank you Byron, It did rain all night Sat and was still drizzling this morning. All coaches got out with no problems that I know of. It was raining all round us. I sure missed Marthas pancakes.

Chuck,

Great pics, wish I could have attended but I've got too much work to do before management arrives!

I see you towed the trailer, what happened to the Tracker? "Somebody" wanted to use it at home? ;-)

I thought I did a good job hiding from you and that camera. Then I come to find out that you still got half of me in behind Matt Colie and two other shots with my Blazer in the background.

At least you missed me taking a nap in front of shop at 3 in the afternoon.

It was a very good rally as usually at Bean Station. A great big thanks needs to go to Marti and Al for hosting it. It is a lot of work for both them. I know all of the Dixielanders appreciate it.

We will see you all (except Ken H.) again next month at Hamilton.

I would also like to thank Chuck Boyd and Bill Bramlett for effecting a simple repair I'd been working on for three years, ...tightening my AC belt. I know, but to some of us less competent, these little repairs sometime seem mighty big. :-)

I too have some pictures I like to share on the forum, but have forgotten how to do it. I will keep trying. Sent my pictures to Tom Phipps on Saturday, but haven't heard from him. Maybe I can send them to Chuck Boyd and he will share.

My wife and I so enjoyed seeing many of our old friends and making new ones at the 25th Annual Bean Station, Dixielander's Rally.

Howard, that belt can be a booger. I bought a 2 foot pry bar to do mine. Now, I have the little tightener that Jim K sells. Got the one for a/c and the alternator. They are expensive but no more pying on those things.
Hope a lot of the first timers, at this year's Bean Station, joined the Dixielanders. One great club with really cheap dues.

Thanks Dan. I feel better now. :-)  Have had my eye on the adjuster Jim K. sells. Might try it. Met Jim K. for the first time. What a great guy. Sorry we missed you.
