Has anyone used this? I presume folks have used it under the hatch, but I want to know if anyone has used in the genny compartment, and has had any burning near the ONAN exhaust. I plan to use this in a compartment for my EV4010.

I used a material similar in construction to that product in my Onan box. It really quieted it down. I rebuilt the box out of plywood with triangular corner runs to give the screws somewhere to land and skipped the steel liner. The similar stuff in mine is not fire proof but it will not sustain a flame and is designed to be used in boat engine rooms.

Chris,

I used a similar product on the galvanized Onan compartment in Double Trouble. It was a thin layer of foam, a layer of dense vinyl,
a thicker layer of foam, another layer of dense vinyl, and a reflective layer.

It went on this http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/xantrex-inverter-install/p31264-xantrex-sw-2000-installation.html side of the
compartment.

I am going to line the other side of the compartment with "something" too. I'll wait until I install the Honda 6010 that CarlS is
bringing to San Antonio for me.

Regards,
Rob M.
