After a looong winters nap I tried starting The Beast. Nada.
Engine spins, I have spark, but apparently no fuel at the carb.
I changed out the carb filter. UGLY! Still no fuel. Even shot starting fluid into the carb, only got a slight hiccup.
So, I'll go upstream, see if the electric fuel pump is working, go from there. And yes, I supposedly have 3/4 tank of gas.
Any other suggestions?

Sir: If you loosen the fuel inlet line and have no fuel with an electric pump, it aint workin. If you got fuel at the inlet the float valve could be stuck shut from sitting. If you got fuel tighten the line back up and while cranking smack the fuel inlet housing with a small hammer to jar it loose or try filling the carb float bowl thru the tall vent tube next to the air filter bolt with gas from a small squeese bottle. This should raise the float off the seat.

You say you have an electric fuel pump. Do you have 2 filters? Can you hear the pump running? Is there a really good squirt of gas going down the carb when you open the throttle?
You mentioned starting fluid. Do you have a spark? Are all the connections on your distributor snug?

Yes, I have spark, and yes the distributor connections are solid. And there isn't any gas to the carb.
I can't hear the electric fuel pump from the drivers seat, but with hearing that is less (ahem) than perfect ... not a surprise. I'll have the wife switch it on while I kneel next to the coach.
I'll use the pump as a mid-point for trouble shooting; if gas is there, then the problem is farther forward. If not, then check it's filter, and possiblely on to the tanks. I HOPE it's no where near the tanks as they are 3/4 full.
My brother is racing today, so nothing will get done until late in the day, and grandson is coming over Sunday (bike lessons!)so most progress will be Monday. I hope.
Y'all have a good weekend, I'm going to cheer on my brother and his TR-6.

I'll check that too, but would it prevent fuel delivery?

Are you talking Beast as in Onan or Olds? Onan---- are tanks 1/2 full or better? Olds--- does accelerator pump stream gas into primaries?

Well, well, well.
Two things: First is Erf Fisher psychic? Yep, ign module is/was bad.
Second: while checking elec. fuel pump I saw a pranged up gas/water separator. I'm not 100% sure how it happened, but have my suspicions. I'll post a couple pictures.
Anyhoo, she runs. Now I just have to do a shake down, and then tackle rear brakes.
Ain't life grand?
